What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a software vendor or retailer. If you click it and go on to sign up or purchase, the vendor pays us a referral fee — a percentage of the sale, or a flat bounty. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be going direct. The commission comes out of the vendor’s margin, not your pocket.
These commissions are what fund the paid subscriptions we buy in order to test tools properly, and they are why Growth Hack Suite stays free to read.
Who we work with
We participate in affiliate programs through the following networks and programs, among others:
- Awin — we are an affiliate publisher on the Awin network and promote selected SaaS, marketing and e-commerce brands through it.
- Impact, ShareASale, CJ Affiliate and other affiliate networks — platforms that connect publishers with software vendors and retailers.
- Direct vendor programs — in many cases we partner directly with a SaaS company rather than through a network.
How this affects our reviews — and how it doesn’t
It doesn’t. Our editorial process runs independently of our commercial one:
- Commission rates never influence rankings. We do not rank a tool higher because it pays more. Our "best of" picks are based on testing, not payout.
- We recommend tools with no affiliate program at all when they are the right answer for the reader.
- We publish negative verdicts. Tools that fail our testing do not get recommended, regardless of whether the vendor is a partner.
- Vendors do not get approval over our copy. No advertiser reviews, edits or signs off on a review before publication.
- Pricing pages are verified, not copied. We check vendor pricing ourselves and update it — including when a partner raises prices.
How we choose what to review
We start from what our readers are actually evaluating — email finders, CRMs, outreach and automation platforms, e-commerce and AI tools — not from what pays best. We sign up, use the product against real workflows, and score it on consistent criteria. Our About page explains our process.
What we will never do
- Write a paid review, sponsored ranking or "pay-to-play" placement disguised as editorial.
- Hide an affiliate relationship, or bury this disclosure where readers cannot find it.
- Bid on a partner brand’s trademarked terms in paid search, or use cookie stuffing, adware, toolbars or any other practice that claims credit for a conversion we did not earn.
- Recommend a tool we have not used.

SaaS pricing, plans and free tiers change constantly and are set by the vendors, not by us. Any price on this site was accurate at the time of writing and may have changed since. Always confirm the current price on the vendor’s own pricing page before you buy.
